Plan a trip to the farm!

King’s Hill Farm is planning for the future, and you can too.  Take a look at our schedule of upcoming events, and be sure to register early for occasions that interest you, space is limited. We have 3 events in store for your family camping pleasure. Each event will have a harvest theme along with hikes, relaxing, yoga, and food! Please look at the detailed descriptions and pick a weekend to visit the farm this year. All of our events are Family Friendly!

We also can schedule Field Trips for public schools or private groups. Please contact us for scheduling and thematic availability.

March 10, 3 pm – 10 pm

Prairie Burn “Nature’s Fireworks”

After arriving on the farm you will receive a lesson on prairie burning; the history and the practical safety tips. Walk the land to view the layout of the burn. Eat a delicious meal made from our winter storage veggies and early spring delicacies. After dinner, the fire works begin! Stand by and watch or participate in the fire control.

Cost: $20 adults, $15 children 13 and under

May 26-27th

Strawberries, Asparagus and Rhubarb OH MY!!

Plan a family camping trip to the farm. Tour the farm, hike the trails, visit the farm animals, eat a phenomenal farm-to-table catered meal. Enjoy and or participate in a talent show. Sit by the fire and roast marshmallows. Marvel at the stars. Yoga in the morning and a campfire breakfast on Sunday. And of course eat and pick as many berries as you can for FREE!

Cost: $30 adults, $20 kids 13 and under

September 1-2

Apple Pick and Cider Press PARTY

Last chance to get the family out to experience the farm before the school season really gets going. Hike the trails, pick some apples, tour the fields and farm animals. We’ll press some cider for our catered farm-to-table dinner. Get to know your farm community and your farm! Talent show, bonfire, roasted marshmallows, starry night. Camp out far far away from city lights! Yoga in the morning and campfire breakfast on Sunday. Raspberries will be bountifully hanging on the vine. Come eat and pick as many as you can for FREE!

August 20- 26

Natural Building Workshop

Have you ever wanted to build sustainably with natural materials? Have you asked yourself, “Where do I start?”. Have you thought that a little guidance and some first hand experience would be perfect. Well, HERE IS YOUR ANSWER and CHANCE to learn it all! Camping and organic farm meals included.

Led by superb Permaculture Instructors Wayne Weiseman and Cliff Davis.

Cost: $975

Lodging and Meals:

Camping is included in the cost of the event. There are hotels and bed and breakfasts in the area. Meals are provided as stated.
